\u201cHey, Glenn,\u201d Jent said when he called Flothe back, \u201cyou know we\u2019re gonna have to get permission from the judge to let us look for the Mini-14 in the boat. The boat\u2019s not listed in the search warrant.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re right. You better call Judge Carlson.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll get over there right now.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cGreat. We gotta find that gun. Hansen ain\u2019t breaking.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAt least we got a break on Henning.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYeah,\u201d Flothe said, \u201cbut we can\u2019t make his wife testify against him.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t worry. Once he knows we know, it\u2019s gonna be all over.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYeah,\u201d Flothe replied. \u201cI\u2019d still feel better if we found that damned Mini-14.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll find it. If it\u2019s here, we\u2019ll find it. And I\u2019ve got a feeling it\u2019s here. It\u2019s just well-hidden.\u201d<\/p>\n All Flothe could do, for the moment, was hope that Jent was right. At least now they had more help on the scene. And maybe they would find the Mini-14 in the boat, although it seemed like a dumb place to hide anything.
