First published in 1991, “Butcher, Baker” has led something of a charmed existence. All but forgotten by its publisher, and long since having gone to remainders, Walter and I received a call in 2002, inquiring about the possiblity of republishing the book. In fact, “Butcher, Baker” enjoyed two more printings, one in 2003, another in 2006.
And then, in late 2010, we started picking up word that Hollywood was interested in making a movie based on “Butcher, Baker” and the Robert Hansen story. What a crazy time it’s been! Lots of back and forth negotiations, lots of late night discussions — and we’re still not done. We’ll be using this blog to keep our many fans up to date. Thanks for your continued interest.
