At the APK: Author Talk on the 1982 Craig murders

The Father Andrew P. Kashevaroff State Library — APK for short — is also referred to as “SLAM.” That’s an acronym for State Library, Archive and Museum. Whatever you call it, it’s an impressive building, with incredible exhibits, resources, archivists, curators and librarians. I am extremely honored to present a Lecture at APK, discussing my new book, “What Happened in Craig.”

Back in 1994, when I moved to the archival research phase of this project, I made several week-long trips to the Alaska State Archives — in a different building, with different ground rules. Their generosity — and extensive collection — was a vital contributor to the final manuscript. This is my way of saying “thanks.”
