“I think John got a whole goddamn pitcher of beer and a pizza.”
In Part 11, John Henning’s loyalty seems almost as large as his appetite. He’s a classic “go big or go home” kind of guy. You can see it in his almost absent-minded willingness to involve a third party in the scheme to protect Bob Hansen. There’s some method to this madness — Henning wants to protect his family from his blatant lies on Hansen’s behalf — but it’s a dumb idea. The more people there are in a conspiracy, the easier it is to get one of them to break. It’s a paper house, built on sand.
John Henning will soon learn the price of being Bob Hansen’s “friend.” But not yet.
